Joan usually goes straight to the comic section of the newspaper but especially on Saturday morning. She loves to read all the comics but especially Family Circle and Dennis the Menace. One day we were eating lunch at Taco Cabana when Rinn's dad, Jack, walked in to eat. Jack passed by our table carrying his newspaper and I asked him what his favorite part of the paper was and he said, "The Comics, of course!" It was fun hearing the two of them talk about recent episodes of the various comics. Maybe we should all be more like Joan and Jack and take time to read the comics - spending more reading time on something that make us smile!

I love the comics too. I especially enjoy watching Mom read them! You can tell when she reads a good one b/c she starts wiping tears of laughter from her eyes...and then she tears/cuts it out of the paper!
