Big Yellow Watercooler

Last Sunday Tyler and I played football up at the school with 6 other guys from the youth group. It was warm but not humid and we had a great time! I told all the guys to be sure and think of Daddy Ken when they got a drink of water out of our big yellow water cooler.

Daddy Ken gave it to me years ago. When he asked me if I could use it, I said "maybe" and wondered where I would store it.

We've been using it for about 5 years now at our Sunday afternoon football games. I know at the time how much that gift would mean to us. Ice cold water during a summer football game is so refreshing.

Almost every week someone makes the comment that the water from that jug is the best tasting water ever!

Toward the end of his life, Daddy Ken would often ask us if we would remember him. Of course we do! Even during Sunday afternoon football we think about you.

Thank you Daddy Ken for all you have done for us. That big yellow watercooler is even more special to us now that you are gone from this earth.

Daddy Ken

O.K. got it fixed. You should be able to see the photos now. I tried using the Picasa Blog This button to upload the photos. Locally it looked good but the photos weren't showing up when I went to another PC. I uploaded the normal Blogger way and they are there now. Sorry about that!

Daddy Ken would love the fact that y'all get so much use from that cooler. He was always giving us things that would come in handy sooner or later. He's very missed.

Kenneth got so much pleasure and enjoyment out of buying things that he could give to his family and he had very little money to do it with.
