Christmas - A Wonderous Time

When our three children were small, Joan and I found Christmas to be a magical time of the year. Each year we studied our kids excitedly opening their presents and sharing joy with each other. Joan and I watched them develop each year in such wonderous ways. Now they are all grown and have their own families full of love.

As we left the party at Tyler and Ann's house Sunday night, we sat outside their house for a moment and took in the beautiful view of their Christmas tree through their front window and I was hit by a flood of emotions. I am so proud of Staci, Caleb, and Tyler and the way they live their lives. They sincerely attempt to walk the narrow path that Christ came to this earth to show us.

I couldn't let the moment pass without taking this photo. It may look like many other Christmas trees at many other houses across the country to someone who doesn't know... but this is a very special Christmas tree to me. It represents the heritage of unconditional love that Christ asked us to give. How beautiful!!!

Thank you for teaching us about the love of Christ! There's nothing more important to pass from generation to generation.

That picture means so much to us :)
The tree itself is so special because it was y'alls tree for so long and now it's in our home :)
Thank you for teaching Tyler so much about God and heritage of unconditional love that Christ asked us to give.
We love you!
