Brody and Barrett have so much fun together... as long as they are rested. Watch what happens when Barrett plays right through the beginning of his nap time.
Here they are riding the four wheeler together with smiles on both faces.
Even when Barrett drives straight into the patio furniture they laugh and smile together. Brody hops off and gives Barrett a driving lesson and how to avoid collisions with stationary objects.
Joan calls the boys inside to participate in the magic of making home-made ice-cream! Barrett waits expectantly.
This delicious ice cream is actually made out of yogurt!
Barrett loved it!
Brody got a brain freeze from the ice cream.
Back outside, I let the boys play with a new toy they found on the shelf in the garage - an automatic watering can. It is a cool base that hooks up to the water hose and then you place the watering can on the base and push down to allow the water to flow in from the bottom. To the boys it was like magic.
Brody was so excited to get to water the flowers.
Barrett watched Brody water the flowers with particular interest.
When it was Barrett's turn he found it a little difficult. I encouraged him to keep trying and so did Brody.
Brody tried to show Barrett how to line up the can on the base...
but Barrett just did not want the help. He thought he could do it himself so Brody finally walked away...
This is when I realized it was past Barrett's nap time.
We both slyly helped Barrett fill the can and he watered the flowers with Brody watching intently.
Just about that time we heard Staci calling from above "Nap Time!"
Staci called for nap time just in time. Lilly agreed!

I always enjoy your pictures. What memories are you all storing up for those boys. They are fortunate to have such grandparents that do so many special things with them.
