History of Flight Museum - Seattle

On our last full day in Seattle, we visited the History of Flight Museum.  Wow, it was fantastic!  There were several historic planes parked outside and we visited them first.  We boarded a Concorde jet first...
Joan and Paula would make very beautiful flight attendants!
Cabin of the Concorde supersonic airliner.
Cockpit of the Concorde.
The Concorde was built by Aerospatial-BAC and is a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner.  It was first flown in 1969, entered service in 1976 and flew commercial flights for 27 years before retirement.  Only 20 were built and after one of the Concordes crashed July 25, 2000 it was retired three years later.
We also boarded a very famous United States Presidential plane - at one time - Air Force One.
Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy flew aboard this plane.  This is the staff cabin.

Love the old phone.
Billy did a great Nixon impersonation as he arrived in Air Force One.
Back in the museum we saw what the first Boeing factory looked like.

Joan and Paula watched a movie about flight - or did they take a nap?
Billy and I looked at airplanes until the museum shut down.
Billy and I even took over the control tower at the museum.
And... I even got in the cockpit of a jet fighter.  Daddy Ken would have loved this museum!!!  We did too!
