Giving Thanks at Grandmommy's House

Caleb, Audria, Tyler, Ann, Joan and I drove to Grandmommy's house this morning for our Thanksgiving week visit. She greeted us at the door with warmth and love! Grandmommy has such a way of making us feel happy and loved. Since we weren't eating until Cindy got off work this afternoon, we had time to take care of the leaves. Caleb took the blower up on the roof and blew the leaves from the roof and out of the gutter.

Tyler raked leaves away from the flower beds, trees, and the edge of the yard so we could mulch the leaves up.

I was mowing the leaves with Daddy Ken's riding lawn mower, but Grandmommy wanted to learn how to mow on it.

So, after a quick lesson about the riding mower, Grandmommy mowed up all the leaves. She did great!!!

After cleaning up the leaves, Caleb, Audria, Tyler, and Ann played a game of SkipBo while Grandmommy finished baking the rolls (her famous roll recipe.)

We ate turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, jello, chocolate pie, and cookies! Dinner was delicious!!!

After dinner we sat around and watched McKenna until she got too tired to entertain us any more and had to go home and take a nap. What a fun day!

Thank you Grandmommy!

That's great that you taught Grandmommy how to use the mower! Now SHE can take Brody for a ride ;)
