Joan and I were watching "Dancing with the Stars" when we decided to go for a walk tonight. It was such a pleasant night in Texas - 68 degrees, no clouds, and a slight breeze. The air is refreshing outside. As we walked down the street we began to notice the bright planet Venus.
Venus is now a brilliant “evening star” just after sunset in the western sky. Because it is still on the far side of the Sun, it is small in size and appears 85% full in a telescope.
We held hands while we walked and then I noticed the moon almost straight up and then it hit me... I brought Joan's hand up and around her head giving her the signal to twirl and she did. We danced down the street until a car turned the corner and it's headlights hit us. We resumed walking, talking, and laughing.
Joan is so much fun!
