Feedstore and More

When President Bush is in town he eats at Southlakes' best BBQ place called the Feed Store and More. Joan and I looked on-line to look at the menu www.feedstorebbq.com and then drove about 1 mile to this hometown restaurant. It was quite a pleasant experience. We were met at the door by a very friendly employee who gave us a quick tour and overview of the food. We ordered a two meat plate and a baked potato and shared both. The food was very good and the atmosphere was fun! As we left the restaurant the sun was setting on the horizon over the pastures behind the Feed Store and More.

Ann had called during the afternoon to tell us about the Central Market across the street giving away chocolate samples today. Lou Ann had been to the Central Market earlier today and wanted Ann to let us know about it. After dinner, we stopped by the Central Market and sampled all the chocolate and then we looked all around the store. It's a very cool store. We then shopped several other stores in the strip and headed back to the hotel.

We went back up to the fifth floor Concierge lounge and sat on the balcony overlooking Southlake.

Goodnight! Thank you for the very relaxing weekend!

O-o-o-o-h! Central Market. I'm with Ann. Love that grocery store but it's a very dangerous place for me to hang out! Leads to all kinds of strange but wonderful cooking.
