Paula and Joan really wanted to visit a Lavender farm. That had never even been on my list of things to do so I was quite shocked when they said they wanted to go. We drove around looking for purple flowers and finally came across this clue from Jimi Hendrix...
Finally we found a lavender farm. Not much action but a lot of purple.
Then we found a lavender gift shop that had anything you can imagine made out of Lavender.
Outside the gift shop was this very pretty garden. All those green mounds will have lavender blooms on them at the right time. It was a very relaxing morning where everything smelled good! We even ate lavender ice cream!!!

Lavender ice cream???? Was it made out of flowers, or it was just lavender colored?
