Victoria Walk with Joan

Joan and I left the British Columbia Museum and walked down to the shoreline of Victoria.  We strolled along the walk and really enjoyed the quiet, cool, afternoon.  It was beautiful!
We sat on a park bench and watched all the activity on the bay.  Airplanes landing on the water and dropping passengers off in Victoria, boats coming and going, and people walking by enjoying the great weather.
Victoria has a great climate for growing plants!
The people of Victoria want to keep it looking beautiful too!  This was painted on the walkway as we started walking further down the bay.  I really liked the third rule!  It got right to the point...
Here you can see the park benches we spent time on.
Victoria is covered with beautiful vegetation!
Yes, they sky was cloudy but you have to expect that when you are on an island!
Here is a view of a portion of the walk we took.  Take a deep breath and relax as you stare into this photo and maybe you can get a sense of the relaxation we felt together that day!
Too soon... it was time to board our ferry to head back to the USA.
