Por is in Bangkok!

I chatted with Por this week and she is a long way from home right now... she is in Bangkok working for a couple more weeks on her job that is part of her University requirements. We miss Por a lot but it is sure nice to be able to chat with her occasionally. (The following photos are from 2003 when Por was here.)

For those of you who did not get to meet Por while she was in the U.S. as an exchange student - Por is from Thailand. She became our exchange student daughter a few years ago.

She was always at the youth group activities, did great in school, and made a lot of friends here in the U.S.

While Por was here in the U.S. she gained new brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, new parents, and many new friends. She also learned how to drive my 1966 Ford Mustang and how to say "y'all" and "howdy".

She went back to Thailand to finish her University education and of course live with her family again. I am so glad she has become part of our family!

Thanks for the "Por" pictures. She was a joy to be around. Hope some day we get to see her again.
