Barrett Gets a Close Up View.

Joan is able to interest Barrett in the tiniest objects.  Here she is showing him a little rock embedded in the big Mushroom Rock.

Joan and Barrett head back to "JanandRon's car" (as Barrett called our rent car) to find our next adventure.

At our next overlook stop we got our first glimpse of the Little River Waterfall!

The Park Ranger told us that one person died from a fall over the waterfall last Monday... so you better believe I held on to Barrett very tightly!

It was a very warm day so Barrett loved the cold water.

Barrett directs Daddy Steve where to wade to next.

Steve let Barrett sit in one of the little rapids and he had fun just letting the cold water flow over him.

When it was time to leave the waterfall, I could tell Barrett was reluctant to leave.

In fact, Barrett stopped in the middle of the path and said "One more time - Waterfall?"  He finally did follow us to the car but I could tell he really enjoyed the Little River Waterfall!
