Barrett on the Motorcycle and Mushroom Rock
Barrett would say "motorcycuhcuhcle" whenever motorcylists would pass us on the scenic road. At one of the scenic overlooks he said it loud enough that the riders asked if he wanted to drive it. Of course he did but he just wouldn't smile...
At the next scenic pull-out we looked across the canyon and saw the last scenic overlook.
At the Mushroom Rocks stop a nice lady offered to take a family photo of us. It turned out pretty good!
Steve gives Barrett a lesson in rock climbing trying to show him a climbing route.
The Mushroom Rocks were a lot of fun for us. Barrett loved the big rocks!
I loved watching Joan and Barrett as they looked at the big rocks and the little pebbles.

Barrett is still telling me that he rode a motorcycle. When I ask him where he says, "Alabama!"
