I wonder if my kids remember the book by Jerry Smath with the title "But No Elephants"? Does anybody remember the name of the Grandma in the story? Just for a clue... it started with a "T".
It really had a great object lesson about avoiding the real problem or the elephant in the room. If we would just tackle that obvious problem we could move on to other things. In fact, I think I better go work on our ceiling fan that broke the other day! Every time someone walks into the living room, they notice it is missing. I'd say right now it is my "elephant in the room."

I kinda remember the book. I'll have to get a refresher next time we're there. I'll guess at the grandma's name...Thelma?
Grandma Tildy, of course!
